Brief Concept The Trigger of Peace is an experimental mixed-media work created as a response against violence and war. The piece uses wire, hot glue, wood, acrylic sheet, water, gouache, aluminum foil, twine, clay, glitter, adhesive, and dish soap. The white birds are lifted by a hand and fly outward along the trajectory of a bullet. The acrylic box behind them contains a gold-and-blue sky and ocean. When gently shaken, the changing layers reveal the birds soaring through both daylight and deep night. Throughout the work, I wanted to replace the visual structure of a handgun with 13 symbols of peace. The main part is dove flying away from trace of gun shot originally. All parts are interactive and movable. Each part of the object combines different materials, textures, and forms of interaction. The main visual sequence follows the doves extending from the magazine toward the barrel and is viewed from right to left. --------------------------------
