拥抱我们的差异：融与溶

     Modern culture root from the ancient civilization. This is an inspiration my trip to Beijing. The ingenious design of ancient building captivated me. Hence, I described part of the ancient cornices as the reflection on modern architecture. There were difference and resonance of aesthetics exist at the same space showing astonishing beauty.

     When I was depicting it, I use hard texture of pencil for the match color, to present the modern building’s grass. The deeper texture charcoal and pencil were used to display the profound sediment of history and culture.

     I hope to show how I was stand in awe in front of both history and modern culture, to appreciate the diversity and mixing of culture by material compatibility. Our human culture is so inclusive that there are various differences to be discovered and embraced.​​
